Leah Marie Garibay, age 3, of Huron, died on Wednesday July 28, 2010, at the Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls after a battle with HLH (Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis).

Her Funeral Service will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, August 1, 2010, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Sunday.

Leah Marie Garibay, the daughter of Moises Garibay and Jessica Payne, was born on July 15, 2007, in Cartersville, GA.

Leah loved Dora the Explorer, blowing bubbles, singing, watching movies, and playing princess. Leah was a very smart little girl who enjoyed getting pretty at the start of each day. Leah was greatly loved by her family, and she enjoyed every moment she spent with her family and friends.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her mom and dad, Jessica Payne and Moises Garibay of Huron, SD; her 2 brothers, Caydan and Gabriel; her Wela Maria Virrueta, of Huron, SD; her grandfather, Jesus Garibay of California; her grandparents, Lisa and Mike Nielsen of Huron, SD; her great-grandmother, Ruth Nickel of Huron, SD; and many aunts and uncles.
