Obituary
Kyle Wilkins, age 23, of 217 Nebraska Ave. SW, Huron, SD, died Friday, January 23, 2009, at his home.
His funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 1-8 p.m. at Welter Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m.; or Wednesday morning one hour prior to the service at the church.
Kyle Douglas Wilkins was born on December 12, 1985, to Jeffery and Barbara (Price) Wilkins in Huron, SD. He attended elementary school and high school in Huron.
He was employed with Huron Custom Meats.
His interests included video games, making jewelry and other crafts, and playing hack-n-sack. He was devoted to his family, and loved to socialize with family and friends.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Barb and Jeff Lund of Iroquois; his father, Jeff Wilkins of Phoenix, AZ; 1 son, Brody Maunders of Huron; 2 brothers, Derek Matthews of Huron, and Kaleb Snay of Kentucky; 2 sisters, Lucy Wilkins of Sioux Falls, and Shelby Matthews of Iroquois; grandparents, Charles and Joyce Price of Huron, SD, and Gayle Bennett of Letcher, SD; and great grandmother, Alma Bennett of Mitchell, SD.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Delbert Bennett.
