Kent Allen Wagner, age 50, of Cavour, died, Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Huron Regional Medical Center.

His funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Riverview United Methodist Church in Huron with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation with the family present will be from 5-7 pm with a time of sharing beginning at 7pm on Wednesday, June 29th at Riverview United Methodist Church; or one hour prior to the funeral service.

Kent was born on June 8, 1966 in Huron to Vincent and Leanne (Urban) Wagner. He attended school in Huron and graduated from Huron High School in 1984 where he was recognized for his high scholastic achievement.

After high school, Kent worked for Dennis Meyer on his farm and then worked for James River Equipment for 16 years as a service technician. He then worked for Eric Zell on his farm for a few years until going back to being a service technician for his current employer; Titan Machinery of Huron.

Kent enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and was known for his enjoyment of "teasing" them. He was always available to lend a helping hand for his dad and neighbors when they needed it. Kent enjoyed horses and raising cattle and attending the Black Hills Stock Show in Rapid City. He cherished his time working on and restoring antique tractors, rodeos, PBR and loved to farm. He was an active volunteer in 4-H Rodeo and was a member of the Cavour Fire Department since 1991.

Kent is survived by his "significant other", Terri Janssen of Cavour; his "adopted" son and family, Levi (Caitie) Fawcett and daughters, Tabor and Kora, all of Wolsey; his father and step-mother "Ma", Vincent (Linda) Wagner of Huron; one brother, LaVerne (Kim) Wagner of Huron; 1 sister, Dawn (fiancé, Allen Vanderheiden) Bohlender of Platte, SD; 3 step-sisters, Joy (Ben) Meyer and Audra (Wes) Fergen, both of Huron, and Dena (Jason) Barton of Piedmont, SD; 1 step-brother, Jay (Amanda) Barton of Huron; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Leanne in 2004; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
