Kenneth L. Sweany, age 67, of White and formerly of Huron, SD, passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022 at his home in White. A private graveside service will be held at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Huron.

Kenneth Lee was born on August 13, 1954 in Huron to parents Charles and Luella (Lehr) Sweany. He grew up in Huron, attending school and graduating from Huron High School in 1972. Kenneth lived in Huron, Riverside, CA, Lincoln, NE and White.

He held several different positions throughout his life, but his last and most enduring occupation was with the SDSU Printing Department which he held until his retirement in 2009 due to health reasons.

He is survived by his sister, Faye McFarling of Lincoln, NE; sister-in-law, Deborah Sweany of New Lenox, IL; two nephews; and four great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother Larry Sweany.
