Keith L. Scheibe, 73, of Wolsey, SD died Monday, August 15, 2016 at Huron Regional Medical Center.

Memorial Service for Keith will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 20th at St. John's Lutheran Church in Wolsey with visitation one hour prior to services.  Inurnment will follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.

Keith was born on April 15, 1943 to Raymond and Cordula (Kohlmeyer) Scheibe, Wolsey, SD.  He was raised in the Wolsey area, graduating from Wolsey High School.  After graduation Keith attended the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Rapid City.

He then left college and moved to Colorado where he worked as a truck driver and at the Coors Brewery.   He then moved to Sioux Falls for a time, before returning home to Wolsey, where he continued his truck driving career and farming.

Keith enjoyed working on and building his antique tractor collection.  His love for Massey Ferguson tractors and collectibles led him to many shows and exhibits across the country and recently he was named featured exhibitor at the Massey Expo of North America.

Keith married Bernice Zimmerman in Huron on July 12, 1994. Strong in his Christian faith, Keith was loved and respected by many.

Keith is survived by his wife, Bernice Scheibe of Wolsey; two stepdaughters, Melodie (Chris) Knaggs of Minneapolis, MN, and Heide (Dan) Schaefer of Phoenix, AZ; his mother, Cordula Scheibe of Huron; two sisters, Julie (Edward) Whelan of Eden Prairie, MN, and Sue Lynn (Kim) Muntefering of Mitchell; three grandchildren, Dillon, Kelsie and Roman Knaggs; along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Scheibe; and an infant daughter, Lea Raye Scheibe.
