Kayleen Wallum, age 50, of 578 Utah Ave. SE, Huron, died Thursday, September 11, 2008, at her home.
Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 16, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron, with burial at Manchester Cemetery, rural Manchester.
Visitation will be Monday from 1-8 p.m. at the Welter Funeral Home with the family present from 5-8 p.m.; or Tuesday morning until time of the service at the funeral home.

Kayleen Wallum was born on July 11, 1958, to Alferd and Muriel (Timm) Wallum at Huron, SD. She attended school in De Smet and moved to Huron in the 1980s where she has lived since that time.
Kayleen was employed by the Bradfield-Leary Center, the IMPACT Program and the Manor Apartments.
She is survived by one son, Benji Wallum of Huron; two brothers, and two sisters, Galen Wallum of Wall, SD, Cindy (Dave) Driscoll of Gettysburg, SD, Jill (Doug) Pierson of Yale, SD, and Craig Wallum of Iroquois, SD; and eight nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister-in-law, Phyllis Wallum.
