Judy Welch (Busch), age 72, of 3900 S. Cathy Ave., Sioux Falls, SD formerly of Huron, died Monday, January 7, 2008 at Covington Heights Care Center in Sioux Falls. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 11:00 AM, Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Welter Funeral Home in Huron with The Rev. Bill Holmes officiating. Visitation will be held from 1-8 PM on Wednesday, January 9, 2008. A Prayer Service is scheduled for 5:45 PM Wednesday with family visitation to follow from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home, or one hour prior to the service Thursday morning. Judy R. Busch was born to Eugene R. and Geraldine (Everts) Busch on August 23, 1935 in Huron, SD. Judy attended schools in Huron and lived most of her life in the Huron area before moving to Sioux Falls, SD in 1999. Judy worked at Buhl?s Laundry and the Huron Nursing Home for many years. Judy enjoyed reading. She was a big fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and enjoyed watching them on television. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Grateful for having shared her life are her two sons: Darwin (Donna) Christman, Huron, SD; and Jason (Bobbi) Hauck, DeSmet, SD; her daughter, Kelly (Steve Graves) Breck, Sioux Falls, SD; her 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Galen (Patti) Busch, Mission, SD; and sister, Kathleen (Joe) Schultz, Yorkville, IL. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Steve Christman; and brother, Dennis Busch.
