Juanita Schinderling, age 60, of Sioux Falls, and formerly of Huron, died Tuesday, June 28, 2005, at the Bethany Lutheran Nursing Home at Sioux Falls. Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 5, at the Welter Funeral Home with Capts. Gerry and Donna Loos officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday until time of service at the funeral home. The family will be present from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Monday evening at the funeral home. Juanita Mae Schinderling was born on January 6, 1945, to Gerhardt and Maude (Lefler) Schinderling at Huron, SD. She attended Morningside School through the 8th grade. After completion of her formal education she helped at home for a few years, then began working at the Barn Restaurant and the Chefs Caf, which she did for many years. On March 28, 1969, Juanita married Thomas Ulsh at Huron. After 30 years of marriage they were divorced and Juanita re-took her maiden name. She entered the Redfield Nursing Home in the summer of 2004, and Bethany Lutheran Nursing Home at Sioux Falls in March of 2005. She was a member of the Salvation Army Home League, Salvation Army Girl Guards, and the Moose Lodge. She enjoyed watching movies on her VCR and had an extensive collection of VHS tapes, putting together puzzles, crossword puzzles, Bingo, and attending church services at the Nursing Home. She is survived by 3 sisters, Myrtle Schinderling of Huron, Iva (Cecil) Wahl of Huron, and Francella (Howard) Lentz, of Huron; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother on December 17, 1971; her father on October 4, 1979; 1 infant daughter, Cindy on May 28, 1973; 1 infant son, Bobbie Lee on May 16, 1977; 1 brother, Gary on November 15, 2000; and 1 sister, Maryls Schinderling on October 8, 2002.
