Joshua Lee Hein, age 35, of Sioux Falls, SD, died Monday, July 22, 2013, in Sioux Falls. His memorial visitation will be Thursday, July 25, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at Miller West Funeral Chapel, 6200 West 41st Street, Sioux Falls, with the family present from 6-8 p.m. and a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. His memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 26, 2013, at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Church in Sioux Falls with burial at 4:00 pm Friday at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery in Huron, SD. Welter Funeral Home is assisting with local funeral arrangements. Joshua Lee Hein, son of Donald and Donna (Jans) Hein, was born on October 28, 1977, in Huron, SD. He grew up there and graduated from Huron High School in 1996. He later attended and graduated from Lake Area Technical School in Watertown in 1999 with a degree in construction management. Following graduation, Josh built homes for contractors in Sioux Falls. From there he returned to school at SDSU and continued his education. He then began working as a department manager at Lowes in Brookings, later transferring to Lowes in Sioux Falls as a sales manager. On February 23, 2007, Josh married Ashley Cowman in Brookings. The couple lived in Sioux Falls. He is survived by his wife, Ashley of Sioux Falls; stepdaughter, Ainsley of Sioux Falls; son, Mason of Sioux Falls; his father, Donald H. Hein, one sister, Kim (Dave) Mattke, one nephew Tyler (Marie) Mattke, and one niece Myranda Mattke, all of Huron, SD. He is preceded in death by his mother, Donna Marie Hein; grandparents, Larwence Hein, Cecilia Hein, Herman Jans, and Edna Jans.
