Josephine "Jo" A. Zartman, age 82, of 225 Simmons Ave SE, Huron, died Friday, August 18, 2006, at her home. Her funeral Mass will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday, August 22nd at Holy Trinity Catholic Parish with Father Joe Holzhauser officiating. Burial will be at St. Martin Cemetery. Friends may call Monday afternoon and evening at the Welter Funeral Home or prior to the Mass at the church Tuesday morning. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM Monday evening at the funeral home. Josephine Ann Zartman was born on April 2, 1924, to Alpha and Rose (Loutsch) Zartman at Iroquois. She attended Washington Grade School and St. Theresa School in Huron and in 1942 she graduated from Huron High School. After graduation she attended Northwest College of Commerce for a few years. Jo sold life insurance at Beach & Dickinson Company for 40 years and the Montgomery Agency for 10 years. She helped at the Huron Adult Day Care Center for many years and taught CCD classes for a few years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish, CD of A, Lady Democrats, Huron Area Senior Center and a 56 year member of the Business of Professional Women Club. Jo enjoyed collecting dolls and angels as her hobby. She is survived by 1 brother Robert 'Bob' Zartman of Huron; 1 sister Katherine (Frank) Smith of Sacramento, CA and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Alpha on July 13, 1979, her mother Rose on February 14, 1990 and 1 nephew, John.
