John J. Wipf, age 90, of Spink Colony, died July 27, 2020 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born July 6, 1930 to Pr. John & Katherina (Waldner) Wipf, at Bon Homme Colony. He moved to Spink Colony in 1945. He married Dorothy Waldner on February 4, 1950. They were married for 66 short years & were blessed with 5 sons & 8 daughters. He was Secretary Treasurer for 50 years. He will be greatly missed by his 11 children: Jerry (Margaret) Wipf of Spink, Johnny (Elisabeth) Wipf of Spink, Blondina (Davey) Stahl of Newport, Ruth (Amos) Wollman of Lismore, Susanna (Albert) Stahl of Newport, Kathryn (Sammy) Wollman of Lismore, Mary (Joey) Wipf of Spring Prairie, Pr. Samuel (Pauline) Wipf of Spink, Rachel Wipf of Spink, Joseph (Linda) Wipf of Spink, Eli (Linda) Wipf of Spink; Son-In-Law David (Margaret) Waldner of Spink. He is survived by 3 sisters , Katherina (Pre. George*) Waldner of Hutterville, Sarah (Paul*) Waldner of Spink, Maria (Pr. Joseph) Waldner of Platte. He is also survived by 53 grandchildren and 125 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents, his wife, 2 daughters, 3 Brothers, 2 sisters, 1 Grandson, & 1 Great Grandchild.
