John M. Waldner, age 64, of Hillside Colony, rural Doland, SD, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010, at Huron Regional Medical Center.
His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 18, at Hillside Colony with burial in the Colony Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 17, in the afternoon and evening at the Colony.
John Waldner was born on May 28, 1945, at the Huron Colony, rural Huron.
On May 7, 1972, John married Eva Glanzer at Hillside Colony.
He is survived by 2 sons, Loren (Rachel) Waldner of Hillside Colony, and Calvin Waldner of Wisconsin; 4 daughters, Miranda (Ronnie) Glanzer of Hillside Colony, Corrinna Waldner of Brookings (nursing school), Loretta (Timothy) Wipf, of Holly, MN, and Rose (Jonas) Waldner of Clark, SD.
