Jim Clark, age 53, of 72 South Terrace Drive, Huron, died Friday, June 3, 2005, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Monday, June 6, at the Huron Christian Church with Garth Couey officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday afternoon and evening at the Welter Funeral Home or prior to the service at the church Monday morning. Jimmy Ray Clark was born on November 2, 1951, to Bernard and Irene (Franey) Clark at Mitchell, SD. He lived with his family at Spencer, SD and attended school at Spencer. Jim graduated from Spencer High School and later he attended Mitchell Area Vocational Technical School. On June 23, 1973, Jim married Linda Speck at Wessington Springs. They lived in Huron and Jim worked at various jobs and was currently employed with Prostrollo Motors as a service advisor. Jim enjoyed building crafts and camping. He is survived by his wife Linda of Huron, three daughters, Danette (Darrin) Lynd of Clive, IA, Angel Clark of Huron and Jennifer Clark of Huron; three grandchildren, Blais, Sarah and Joshua; two brothers, Donald (Rosie) Clark of Moorcroft, WY and David Clark of Wolsey; three sisters, Bernadine (Art) Wenzel of Wessington Springs, Judy (Rodney) Krueger of Wessington Springs and Joyce (Gary) Timm of Wolsey; two sisters-in-law, Sheryl Clark of Mitchell and Sue Hughes of Huron; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three brothers, Tom and Ronny Clark and Robert in infancy. Casket bearers will be Dale Harvey, Doug Rahder, Dale Steilen, Alan Williams, Dave Waagen, Jamie Guericke, Joe Shaw and Flor Authier.
