Jennifer Ann DeShazer, 41, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron. Her Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Welter Funeral Home in Huron.

Jennifer Ann Hunter was born on March 23, 1981 to parents Duane Raymond Hunter, Jr. and Cindy Kay Waldner. Jennifer attended Huron schools, graduating with highest honors in 1999. She attended Stewart School of Cosmetology, graduating in 2019. Jen had lived in Sioux Falls from 2018-2021. She had her own cosmetology business "Hair To Please By Jen" since 2019. She loved to do hair.

Jen loved to spend time with her family. She loved to dance, go shopping, and listen to music. She also enjoyed word searches. She had a beautiful laugh and smile and will be missed by so many family members and friends.

She is survived by her partner, Toby Harvey of Wolsey; her two sons, Zachary Dutcher and Tanner Hunter, both of Huron; her parents, Duane (Suzanne) Hunter of Sioux Falls, Cindy Waldner of Huron, and Tracy Herren of Colorado; siblings, Joshua Hunter of Huron, Jeremiah Johnson of Sioux Falls, and Jacob Johnson of Huron; half-siblings, Amber Herren, Jessica Schafer, Emily Anderson, Cindy Bartunek, Devin Hunter, and Nina Hunter.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mildred Jensen, Mike Waldner, Duane Hunter, Sr., and Solveig Hunter; great-uncles Kenny Jensen and Jerry Jensen.
