James L. Waldner, 82, Huron, SD died February 7, 2017 at the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home in Huron.  Memorial Service for Jimmy will be at 5:30 pm, Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron.

Jim was born June 30, 1934 to Andrew and Agnes (Stahl) Waldner in Huron.  He was raised in the Huron area and spent most of his life here, working in construction.

Jim is survived by two brothers, Daryl Waldner of Huron, Bob Waldner of Bettendorf, IA; three sisters, Marilyn Shoultz and Kay Shoultz of Davenport, IA and Lavone Carroll of Colly, WY.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son, Jimmy Moeding and brother, Ronald Waldner.
