James Love, age 80, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. A private family service will be held at a later date.

James, the son of Charles and Elsie (Melber) Love was born on October 11, 1940 in Huron, SD. He attended Huron High School and graduated from Huron College. He married Margaret Ellen Boetel on May 18, 1962 and together they raised three boys, Todd, Scot, and Jeff. James worked in the retail business most of his adult life in South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. His last business was Love's Home Store in Huron, which he ran with his wife.

He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret, his son Scot and his parent Charles and Elsie. He is survived by his sons Todd (Holly) Love of Rapid City, SD and Jeff (Darci) Love of Marshall Minnesota; his brother Charles (Donna) Love of Overland Park, Kansas; and his grandchildren Kelly, Kami, Josephine and Tristan.
