James D. Christman, age 63, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2019 at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron. His Memorial Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Welter Funeral Home in Huron.

James D. Christman was born on July 17, 1956 in Huron to parents Fred and Ella (Holtz) Christman. He grew up in Huron, graduating from Huron High School. James was raised in the Lutheran faith. James worked various jobs in the Midwest. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Danny Christman. James is survived by his sons, Jason Christman of Armour and Steven Christman of Hot Springs; 2 grandchildren; one sister, Pamela (Chuck) Greeneway of Armour; two nieces and two nephews.
