Jacob Z. Jake Wollman, age 78, of Pearl Creek Colony, rural Iroquois, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM this Friday, March 31, at Pearl Creek Colony, with burial in the Colony Cemetery. Jacob Z. Wollman was born on June 23, 1927, to Zach and Sarah (Waldner) Wollman at Manitoba, Canada. He moved to South Dakota in 1948, and married his childhood sweetheart, Emma Waldner, on November 5, 1950. They were married for 55 wonderful years. He lived at Pearl Creek Colony and worked at many different jobs including mechanic and electrician. His wife, Emma, 11 children, brother and sisters, many grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren are left to cherish his memory: Jack (Lisa) Wollman of Huron, Zack (Sarie) Wollman of Huron, Ray (Nicole) Wollman of Rochester, MN, Kenny (Anita) Wollman of Sioux Falls, SD, Tim (Maribeth) Wollman of Pearl Creek Colony, Brian (Bertha) Wollman of Colorado Springs, CO, Darius (Lorraine) Wollman of Pearl Creek Colony, Linda (Tim) Tanner of Lynndyl, UT, Sarah (Tim) Schaefer of Waterloo, IL, Kathleen (Ernie) Wurtz of Afton, NY, and Lisa Wollman of Rochester, MN; his brother, David (Susie) Wollman of Long Lake Colony; his sisters, Sarah (Mike) Glanzer of Hillside Colony, Susie (David) Glanzer of Hillside Colony, Annie (Andrew) Tschetter of Pleasant Valley Colony, and Mary (George) Waldner of Grassland Colony. He was preceded in death by his parents, Zach and Sarah Wollman; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph and Suszanna Waldner; 1 daughter, Emma; 1 son, Nathaniel; and 3 brothers, Zack, Fred, and Joseph.
