Isabel Anne Kirschner, age 89, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2020 in Inver Grove Heights, MN. A private family service will be held at the Welter Funeral Home on Saturday, May 9, with burial at the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.
Isabelle Anne Davison the daughter of Fred and Emma (Brown) Davison, was born on August 12, 1930 in Huron, SD. She attended school and graduated from Huron High School. Isabel first began working for Markey Law office.
Isabel married Milo Atkins. After Milo's passing, Isabel worked for St. John's Hospital in Huron until moving to Waubay, MN where she worked for the Defense Logistics Agency until her retirement.
Isabel was a lifetime church member attending both the Wesleyan Methodist Church and the Lutheran Church in Inver Heights, MN. Isabel was a very talented musician. During her lifetime, Isabel played organ, piano, and the hand bells for the church. She also sang in the church choirs.
Grateful for having shared in her life are her three children: Janice (Gerald) Dargatz, of Inver Grove Heights, MN, Kay Thompson of Iowa City, IA, and Lucille (Ed) Ihrke of Westbrook, MN; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews
Isabel was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Milo E. Atkins and Roy Kirschner; son, Lawrence; daughter, Marilyn; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.
