Inez Muilenburg, age 69, of Huron, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Her funeral service will be on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation with her family present will be on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 5-7 PM or one hour prior to the service at the funeral home on Friday.

Inez M. Trowbridge was born on April 22, 1950 to parents Calvin E. and Letha L. (Rubendall) Trowbridge in Huron, South Dakota. Inez grew up in Huron and was a member of the first graduating class of the new Huron High School in 1968. She married Robert Muilenburg in December 11, 1971 in Huron. They had one daughter, Bobbie Lynn.

Inez was employed as general manager for the Super 8 Motel in Huron for 20 years. She won many awards for the motel nationally. Inez was very involved with special needs children locally. She was involved with the Huron Chamber of Commerce. She was awarded the Ruth Ziolkowski Outstanding Hospitality Award on January 17, 2019 at the South Dakota Governor's Conference on Tourism.

Inez made many crocheted afghans for many babies and friends. She enjoyed needlepoint as well as teaching tole painting.

Grateful for having shared in her life are her husband Robert of Huron; daughter Bobbie Muilenburg of Huron, sisters Rea Struble of Westfield, Indiana and Iris Nicholas of West Haven, Utah and many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother Ivan Trowbridge and brother-in-law James Struble.
