Hilma Dominick, age 89, of Sioux Falls and formerly of Huron, died Thursday, February 7, 2008 at the Covington Heights Health Care Center in Sioux Falls. Her Graveside rites will be at 11:00 AM Monday, February 11, 2008 at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum with Rev. Steven Brandsrud officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 to 8:00 PM at the Welter Funeral Home with the family present from 2:00 to 3:00PM. Hilma Dominick was born Hilma E. Erickson on September 16, 1918, to Hilding and Hildur (Johnson) Erickson at a farm south of Huron. She attended rural schools and Huron High School. In 1937, Hilma married Walter Van Moorlehem in Huron. They made their home in the Huron area until 1998, when she moved to Sioux Falls. She worked for many years at Huron Clinic in medical records. In 1965, Hilma married Phil Dominick in Minnesota. She is survived by one daughter, Karen Kay (Wes) Weller of Sioux Falls and one brother, Vern Erickson of Huron. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, five brothers and one sister.
