Helene Georgiades, age 78, of Minnetonka, MN, died on Saturday, April 3, 2004, at Minnetonka. Her funeral service will be this Tuesday morning, April 6, in Minneapolis. A private family burial service will be at held on Thursday, April 8, at Riverside Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to St. Marys Greek Orthodox Church, 35th St. and Irving Ave. S., Minneapolis, MN, or to the donors choice. Local arrangements are under the direction of Welter Funeral Home. Helene was a member of the Philoptochos Society, and St. Marys Greek Orthodox Church. She was a longtime employee of Minnegasco. Helene was a resident of the Walker Methodist Health Care Center at Minnetonka. She is survived by 4 sisters, Katherine Georgiades and Dena Georgiades, both of Minnetonka, Marye Finsand of Versailles, KY, and Ginger (John) Roberts of Kansas City, MO; 1 brother, Nick Georgiades of Sioux Falls; and special nieces, Kathryn Finsand, and Vasiliki McAllister, both of Minnetonka; and many other nieces and nephews, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Vasiliky Georgiades; and 1 brother, George Georgiades.
