Helen G. Neiffer, age 80, of 1345 Michigan Ave SW, Huron, died Saturday, December 15, 2007 at the Huron Nursing Home. Her Graveside Rites will be at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 18th at Riverside Cemetery with Father George Parmeter officiating. There will be a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM Monday, December 17th at the Welter Funeral Home with the family present from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Helen Neiffer was born Helen Gertrude Webster on November 28, 1927, to Albert B. and Jessie G. (Ritchie) Webster at Huron. She attended Huron schools and graduated from Huron High School in 1945. On February 28, 1954, Helen married John Neiffer in Huron. Helen was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. She was treasurer of St. Marys Altar Guild and former Directress of St. Marys. She is survived by her husband, John of Huron; 2 daughters, Rennie (Jerry) Muhs and Danelle (Paul) Hauck, both of Brandon; 4 grandchildren, Jessica Muhs of Charleston, SC, Ryan Muhs of Brookings, Alec Hauck and Aaron Hauck both of Brandon; 3 step granddaughters, Jennifer (Dean) Mugianis of Tarpon Springs, FL, Jackie Muhs of Sioux Falls, and Angela (Mike) Messer of Gainesville, FL; 1 sister, Ethelyn Williams of Everett, WA; 1 sister-in-law, Edith Webster of Huron; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters, Mary Pierce, Dorothy Decker, Eileen Wick, and Betty Locker, 4 brothers, Charles, Paul, Albert and Jim Webster, 5 brothers-in-law, Roy Pierce, Brick Decker, Andy Wick, Charles Locker, Bob Williams, 1 sister-in-law, Alice Webster.
