Obituary
Harvey Kraft, age 61, of Huron died on Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Huron Regional Medical Center.
His memorial service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, March 24, 2011, at Welter Funeral Home in Huron with burial at Riverside Cemetery.
There will be no memorial visitation.
Harvey Dale Kraft was born on August 19, 1949,, in Estherville, IA to Lewis and Helen (Podhradsky) Kraft. He attended Morningside School in Huron.
Harvey worked at Armours packing plant for a time, and then worked for Groves Construction until he couldnt work anymore because of a disability.
Harvey enjoyed watching wrestling on TV, fishing, camping, and hunting pheasants with his nephews.
Harvey is survived by his sister, Mary (Dave) Dorris of Huron; nephews, Mike (Tonya) Dorris of Huron, Shane (Nicole) Dorris of Huron; nieces, Mary Jo (Rod) Bult of Huron, Spring (Troy) Metter of Huron, Connie Dorris of Mitchell; 18 grandnephews; 5 grandnieces; one great-grandnephew; and one great-grandniece.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Norman Kraft; sister, Linda Kraft; and grandniece, Autumn Dorris.
