Hannah Kleinsasser, age 91, of Huron, SD, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2014, at the SunQuest Healthcare Center in Huron. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 7, 2014, at Living Hope Alliance Church in Huron with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery, Huron. Visitation with the family present will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, April 6, at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron; or one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday. Hannah Kleinsasser was born on April 27, 1922, to Joe "JP" and Susie (Hofer) Tschetter in Huron, Beadle County, SD. Hannah grew up and went to grade school in Iowa Township. She attended high school at Doland and Yale, SD. Hannah married Clarence Kleinsasser on September 19, 1941, at her home in rural Huron. They lived and farmed in Fairfield Township. Hannah raised alot of poultry and helped farm. They moved to Huron in February 1977, where she worked as a housekeeper for many families until November 1994 when she had heart surgery. Hannah was also involved in a friendship group led by Susanne Tschetter which she enjoyed very much. Hannah was baptized by Dick Dugan and was a member of the Living Hope Alliance Church. Grateful for having shared in Hannah's life are her son, Larry Kleinsasser of Huron, SD; grandson, Roger (Alison) Kleinsasser of Huron; granddaughter, Roxie (Tim) Kelly of Sioux Falls; six great-grandchildren, Adison, Tyler, and Travis Kleinsasser, all of Huron, and Evan, Taylor, and Caitlin Kelly, all of Sioux Falls; her sisters and brothers- in-law; her nieces and nephews, cousins; and her many friends Hannah is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence on Dec. 7, 2001; step mother; two brothers; sister and sister in infancy; and one daughter-in-law. Memorials may be made in Hannah's name to the Living Hope Alliance Church in Huron, SD.
