Gordon worked for Armour's and Co. for 44 years, retiring in 2004. During his tenure with Armour's/The Dial Corp., Gordon worked in Huron, Worthington, MN and Ft. Madison, Iowa. In 2006 they retired to his hometown of Huron. Gordy and Mary spent many happy years together traveling the US, wintering in Arizona, volunteering at Huron Christian Church and delivering Meals on Wheels for the Senior Center.
