Glenn Herrick, age 90, of Huron, SD, died Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Violet Tschetter Memorial Home. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at Congregational United Church of Christ. Following the service his body will be cremated. Visitation will be Saturday morning one hour prior to the service at the church. Glenn Alexander Herrick, son of Arthur and Mabel (Slocum) Herrick, was born on June 3, 1922, in Aberdeen, SD. He was a resident of the Huron Area Center for Independence until January 6, 2005, when he entered Violet Tschetter Memorial Home. Over the years he worked at many jobs arranged through the Center. He was a member of Congregational United Church of Christ, which he dearly loved, and the members of the church dearly loved him. He is survived by many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.
