Glenn Eggleston, age 77, of South Lyon, MI, and formerly of Alpena, SD, died Thursday, May 1, 2008, in South Lyon. His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 8, at the Welter Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Hunt officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the Welter Funeral Home or Thursday from 11 a.m. until time of service. Glenn L. Eggleston was born on April 21, 1931, to Cecil and Pearl (Luckey) Eggleston at Alpena, SD. He is survived by his wife, Janice; 2 children, Sherrine Mattusik and Janelle Graves; 3 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 brothers, Darrell Eggleston and Clinton Eggleston; and 1 sister, Myrna Vanuk. He was preceded in death by 1 son, Rodney Eggleston; and 1 sister, Lorraine.
