Gary L. Wagner, age 68, of Huron, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at his home.
A celebration of Gary's life will be on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 10 am to 6 pm at the center shelter at Memorial Park in Huron.
Gary was born on May 20, 1947 in Mitchell, SD to Grover and Adala (Mick) Wagner. He proudly served in the U.S. Army for 13 ½ years and was stationed in the United States and Germany. His time in the Army also included a spot on the U.S. Army Boxing team.
Gary and his business partner, Wayne Curtis, owned and operated "Wags Everyday Sales" in Huron for many years and were known to their many customers as "The Two Guys Place in Morningside".
Gary was an expert woodworker and furniture repairman. He also enjoyed going to garage sales and taking in the annual "Black Friday" shopping.
Gary is survived by his life partner, Wayne Curtis of Huron; 1 sister, Darlene (Bob) Vathing of Naples, FL; 4 nephews and 3 nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Barbara Hastings and Charlotte Dossett; and 1 aunt, Josephine Mick.
