Evelyn M. (Busch) Cudmore, age 94, of Huron, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2016 at SunQuest Healthcare Center.

Her memorial service will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, June 3, 2016 at First Presbyterian Church in Huron with inurnment at the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum.

Memorial visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church.

Evelyn was born on January 11, 1922 in Blunt, SD to Amba S. and Theresa O. (Crain) Welch. She was educated in the Huron school system and graduated from Huron High School in 1941.

Evelyn was united in marriage to Hugo Busch on October 14, 1942 in Huron.

Evelyn worked at the Plains and the Huron Credit Bureau until 1969 when she moved to Aberdeen to work for Control Data; she retired from Control Data in 1985 and moved to Texas.

Evelyn married Eric Cudmore in 1991 in McAllen, TX; Eric passed away on January 29, 2005. She returned to Huron in June of 2011. Evelyn enjoyed fishing, golf, reading, sewing/crocheting, and puzzles.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Huron.

She is survived by one son, Michael D. Busch of Huron; two daughters, Janet (Lyle) Swanson of Huron and Linda (Jim) Vandel of Sioux Falls; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary Busch on January 29 of 1994; three sisters; and one brother.
