Eleanor F. Salveson, age 90, of Huron, passed away at her home in Huron. Her graveside service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 14, 2019 at St. Martin's Cemetery in Huron.

Eleanor Florence Jaskierski was born on January 27, 1928 to Bartholemew and Mary (Rapacz) Jaskierski in Chicago, Illinois. Eleanor attended St. Mary of Nazareth Nursing School in Chicago and was a Registered Nurse for many years.

Eleanor married Ted Salveson in Huron and later divorced. Eleanor worked at Violet Tschetter Memorial Home for many years. Eleanor was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Parish and was devout with her faith. She enjoyed watching EWTN channel and spending time at the Salvation Army.

She is survived by her son, Ted J. Salveson, III of Huron and son-in-law Brian Bertsch of Huron. She was preceded in death by her daughter Frances.
