Rev. Eh Day Htoo, age 69, of Huron, died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at his residence. His funeral service will be at noon on Saturday at the Su Knya Karen Baptist Church in Huron with burial in the Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 am until noon on Saturday at the church. Eh was born on February 10, 1946 in Burma to Boe and Daw (Kyaw) Sha. He was united in marriage to Christina Htoo on May 6, 1976 in Burma where he later attended Bible College. On July 2, 2009, Eh and Christina immigrated to the United States and lived in Washington State until April of 2010. That same month, they moved to Huron where Eh served as the associate pastor at First Baptist Church. In July 2012 the Su Knya Karen Church was established in the former VFW building in Huron where Eh served as it's pastor until his passing. He loved the ministry and studying the bible, spending time with his family and friends, and cooking. He is survived by his wife Christina Htoo of Huron, 1 son, Hsa Ler Moo of Huron, 3 daughters, Shee Say Htoo (Kay Nay Htoo) of Canada, NiDoh Paw Knyaw (Po Eh Knyaw) of Washington State, May Say (Htoo Ywa Paw) of Huron, and 11 grandchildren.
