Obituary

Douglas D. Pullman, age 67, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Prairie View Healthcare Center in Woonsocket.

His memorial service will be on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 10:30 am at the Welter Funeral Home in Huron with military honors by the Huron Veteran's Council. Burial will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery in Sturgis, South Dakota at a later date.

Visitation with the family present will be at 9:00 am Tuesday, September 25 until the time of service at the funeral home.

Douglas Dale Pullman was born on May 8, 1951 in Huron to Ruben and Darlene (Kleindl) Pullman. He grew up in Huron and attended Huron schools. He was in the Army and served during the Vietnam War where he received his GED. Doug worked construction and as a bee keeper for Jim Griffith.
Doug enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and going South for the winter. He was a gearhead and enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson, working on cars, and going on poker runs.  He also enjoyed fishing with friends.
Grateful for having shared in Doug's life are his parents Ruben and Darlene Pullman of Huron; his children Markus (Cara Davies) Pullman of Watertown and Lisa Hoffman of De Smet; seven grandchildren Kryszian Hoffman, Ian Hoffman, Tristan Davies, Chandler Pullman, Jessica Pullman, Elizabeth Davies-Pullman, and Jacob Davies-Pullman;parents, Ruben and Darlene Pullman; brother Wayne Pullman of Huron; 3 sisters Carol Tschetter and Jean (Gary Heath) Pullman of Huron and May (Tom) McMillan of Garden City, SD; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by grandparents and aunts and uncles.
