Douglas Kent Nelson, age 72, of Lake Oswego, OR, formerly of Forestburg, SD, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the Legacy Hopewell House Hospice in Portland, OR, surrounded by his wife and his 2 sons. A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 5, 2011 at the Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery Mausoleum followed by a time of fellowship with the family at the Forestburg Lutheran Church in Forestburg, SD.
