Dorothy Waldner, age 51, of Spink Colony, rural Frankfort, died Sunday, May 16, 2004 at the Huron Regional Medical Center after a 5 week battle with leukemia. Her funeral service will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday, May 19th at the Spink Colony Church, rural Frankfort. Burial will be at the Spink Colony Cemetery. Dorothy Wipf was born on December 25, 1952 to John and Dorothy Wipf at the Spink Colony, rural Frankfort, SD. She married David Waldner on October 30, 1977 at the Spink Colony. She is survived by her husband, David; her parents, John and Dorothy Wipf all of Spink Colony, her mother-in-law, Rebecca of Hutterville; five brothers and six sisters, Jerry (Margaret) of Spink, John (Elizabeth) of Hutterville, Samuel (Pauline) of Spink, Joseph (Linda) of Spink, Elias of Spink, Blondina (David) of Newport, Ruth (Amos) of Bigstone, Susanna (Albert) of Newport, Katherina (Samuel) of Bigstone, Mary (Joey) Spring Prairie and Rachel of Spink; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, and one sister Abigail.
