Dolores Dee Verschoor, age 82, of 1671 Kansas Ave. SE, Huron, died Monday, September 13, 2004, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Her funeral Mass will be at 11:00 AM Friday, September 17, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Donald Imming officiating. Burial will be at St. Martin Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday afternoon and evening at the Welter Funeral Home or prior to the Mass Friday morning. There will be a Scripture Service at 7:00 PM Thursday evening with the family present from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at the funeral home. Dolores Verschoor was born Dolores Martha Langenfeld on April 21, 1922, to Matthew and Lena (Neisen) Langenfeld at Watertown. Dee attended Immaculate Conception Grade School at Watertown and attended and graduated from Mount Marty High School at Yankton. Later she attended St. Catherines University in St. Paul, MN. On July 12, 1949, Dee married William Bill Verschoor at Watertown. They lived in Mitchell until June 1, 1951, when they moved to Huron where they have lived since that time. Dee was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and was active in the St. Francis Shop and loved to play bridge. She is survived by her husband Bill of Huron; five sons and two daughters, William M. Verschoor of Sioux Falls, Philip (Linda) Verschoor of Sioux Falls, Jim (Jan) Verschoor of Rapid City, Susan (Tom) Jordahl of Cathedral City, CA, Margaret (Jim) Aldren of Rapid City, Bob Verschoor of Pueblo West, CO and Richard Verschoor of Sturgis; five grandchildren, Joey and Matthew Jordahl, Tyler and Todd Aldren and Allison Verschoor; two brothers, John Langenfeld of Rapid City and Norb (Mary Ann) Neisen of Watertown; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers, Butch, Matthew Jr., Judd, Bill, and Joe Langenfeld; and four sisters, Verena Vossberg, Monie Lamoureaux, Vivian Clarke, and Frances Langenfeld in infancy.
