Dennis E. Bussell, age 55, of 1345 Michigan Ave. SW, and formerly of 853 Kansas Ave NE, Huron, died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at the Huron Nursing Home. His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 29 at the Welter Funeral Home with Rev. Lew Christensen officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. Friends may call Monday afternoon and evening and Tuesday until time of service at the Welter Funeral Home. Dennis Bussell was born on February 7, 1950, to Ralph and Violet (Bennett) Bussell at Huron, SD. He grew up in Huron and attended McKinley and Madison Schools. He was employed at Flanerys Meats, Huron Dressed Beef, and was self employed as a scrap metal dealer. Dennis was married to Marjean Sheffield and to this union, two children were born, LeeAnn and Jason. Due to ill health Dennis became a resident of the Huron Nursing Home on August 1, 2003. He was survived by one brother, Ralph Ray Bussell of Huron; one son, Jason (Jamie) Utley of Huron; one daughter, LeeAnn (Jeremy) Johnson of Milbank; 2 grandchildren, Adrianna Johnson, and Harmony Johnson; one aunt, Mabel Bussell of Huron; and a number of cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Lois DeLong and Diana Bussell; and one brother, Roger.
