Delores Moilan, age 80, of 364 Dakota Ave. South, Huron, died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Huron Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Friday, December 29th at Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church with Rev. Jonathan Boehne officiating. Burial will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call after 3:00 PM Thursday afternoon and evening with the family present from 6:00 to 7:30 PM or Friday morning at the Welter Funeral Home or prior to the service at the church Friday afternoon. Delores Moilan was born Delores Emma Hansen on February 17, 1926, to William Bill Sr. and Magdalena Maggie (Kludt) Hansen at Huron. She attended grade school in a country school house. On March 7, 1948, Delores married Marvin Moilan Sr. She raised her family on her fathers farmstead until 1971 and then moved to Huron where she was employed until 2006. Places of employment throughout her life time were the Violet Tschetter Memorial Home, Colonial Bakery, Huron Valet Cleaners, the Inn, American Legion, Marvin Hughitt Hotel, the Plains, and lastly the Crossroads Hotel and Event Center as a dishwasher. She retired at the age of 80 in November 2006. Delores was well noted for the numerous cards she sent to all her family and relatives for all occasions. She was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church in Huron. She is survived by 1 son, Marvin Marv (Tessie) Moilan Jr. of Huron; 3 daughters, Linda Moilan of Eagan, MN, Janet Floyd of Huron and Carol (Jim) Milbrandt of Huron; 3 grandsons, Robert and Lucas Milbrandt and John Moilan; 3 brothers, William Billy (Bev) Hansen Jr. of Huron, LeRoy (Sharon) Hansen of Huron and Duane (Mary Ann) Hansen of Mitchell; 2 sisters, Shirley (Marv) Knutson of Huron and Janice (Ken) Huber of Pierre and a sister-in-law, Darlene Hansen of Huron. She was preceded in death by her daughter Patricia Cooper, a granddaughter, Amy Rose Christopherson, her parents, a son-in-law, Duane Christopherson, a sister Norma Spelbring and a brother John Johnny Hansen Jr.
