Debbie (Palmer) Montoya, age 52, of Duluth, MN, formerly of Wolsey, SD, passed away on December 16, 2012, at the Bay Shore Nursing Home in Duluth, MN. Her memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Welter Funeral Home with burial of her cremated remains at the Wolsey Cemetery in Wolsey, SD. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, December 28, at the Welter Funeral Home. Debbie Palmer, the daughter of Kenneth and Mildred (Goins) Palmer, was born on February 10, 1960, in St. Paul, MN. She is survived by her parents, Kenneth and Mildred (Goins) Palmer; her son, David (Crystal) Palmer; daughter, Pamela (Mike) Smith; grandchildren, Lyndsey, A.J. and Desiree; sister, Michelle (Kelly) Christopherson; brother, Todd Palmer; a niece, Samantha; nephew, Kyle; and many beloved family members throughout the country. Debbie enjoyed life. She loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. Debbie is preceded in death by her grandparents, Martin and Luverne Palmer and William and Louise Goins; her brother, Kevin Palmer; and the Palmer triplets.
