David Waldner, age 73, of Shamrock Colony, rural Carpenter, SD, died Monday, April 28, 2008, at Sanford USD Medical Center in Sioux Falls. His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM this Wednesday, April 30, at the Shamrock Colony with burial in the colony cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the funeral service. David Waldner , age 73, was born on August 10, 1934, to John and Anna (Glanzer) Waldner in Manitoba, Canada. On July 10, 1955, David married Emma Wollman at Huron Colony. In 2007, they moved to Shamrock Colony where David shared his joy in life with all whom he came into contact with. He is survived by his wife, Emma, of Shamrock Colony; his children: Linda of Shamrock, David (Bertha) of Shamrock, Corny (Sarie) of Shamrock, Sarah (Mark) of Sioux Falls, Jacob (Barb) of Shamrock, Leonard (Judy) of Elmendorf, Joseph (Caterina) of Shamrock, Benjamin (Jolene) of Elmendorf, Robert (Martha) of England, and Louise (Edward) of Spring Valley; 48 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 1 brother: Sam of Shamrock; 1 sister: Susanna of Lakeview.
