Darwin Waldner, age 29, of Shamrock Colony in Carpenter, SD, passed away on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at the Huron Regional Medical Center. His Funeral Service was held at the Shamrock Colony on Saturday, July 20, 2013 with burial in the Shamrock Colony Cemetery. Although Darwin was almost 30 years old, we can all agree that his life was too short. Darwin leaves a void in our hearts and homes that no one will ever fill. He will be greatly missed by many. Darwin was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone. His quiet life was a great example to us all. He was faithfully serving Shamrock Colony as a plumber and electrician at the time of his death. Darwin was preceded in death by both grandmothers Katie Waldner - Huron Colony Sara Waldner - Hillcrest Colony Grandfather John Waldner - Riverside Colony 3 uncles, Dave, George, and Jake of Hillcrest Colony Among those who are grateful for sharing Darwin's life are his beloved parents, Tony and Rebecca Waldner 4 brothers and 2 sisters Anthony (Sandra) Waldner - Shamrock Colony: Alexander, Samantha, Anthony, and Jesse Sharon (Jeff) Waldner of Milbank, SD: Samara, Rebecca, Natalia, and Joseph Valma of Shamrock Colony Jonathan (Joni); Evelyn Ryan (Vicky) of Spencer, SD: Damaris, Karesse, and Alysha George of Salem, SD Grandfather Sam of Shamrock Colony and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
