Danny Christman, age 55, of Sioux Falls and formerly of Huron, died Saturday, December 25, 2004 at his home in Sioux Falls. His Memorial service will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, January 6th at the Welter Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Brugger officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements by the Welter Funeral Home. Danny Christman was born on February 25, 1949, to Fred and Ella (Holtz) Christman at Huron, SD. He attended school in Huron and graduated from Huron High School and attended Huron College. While in high school Danny started his employment with Montgomery Wards in sales and worked there until the 1970s. Danny married Mary Murphy at Huron. In the 1990s he moved to Sioux Falls where he has lived since that time. While in Sioux Falls Danny worked in food service until his health forced him to retire. He is survived by two sons, Sean (Courtney) Christman and Josh Christman both of Salt Lake City, UT; three grandchildren, Peyton, Xander and Jace; one brother, Jim Christman of Huron; one sister, Pam (Chuck) Greeneway of Armour; two nieces, Heather Dilly of Phoenix, AZ and Ashley Jenson of Mitchell; and two nephews, Jason and Steven Christman both of Gillette, WY. His parents preceded him in death.
