Dale G. Cook, 70, of Cavour, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 15, 2022. His memorial visitation will be on Tuesday from 5-7 pm at Welter Funeral Home in Huron with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 pm. Private inurnment will be at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Dale Guy Cook was born Jan. 10, 1952, to Wesley and Twila (Bradley) Cook at Venus, Nebraska. On July 26, 1974, Dale married Connie Blue in Cavour, SD. He drove truck and was a mechanic at PTI and then worked at Sibley Motors for 23 years. In his retirement, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping with his grandkids, and spending time in the garden.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Connie Cook; 2 children: Justin Cook and wife Kyra Espinosa and their children Alejandro and Rafael Cook. Angela and husband Michael Sik and their children Kylie and Landon Owens and Brynlee and Roman Sik. Alissa (Sam) Amundson and children Holly and Emmett Amundson. 2 brothers, Harley (Janet) Cook of Hollywood, MD and Lyle (Joyce) Cook of Coleridge, NE, sister Bonnie (Butch) Jaqua of Sioux City, sisters-in-law Marlyce Cook, and Jacki Cook. Mother-in-law Marge Blue, Gary (Gaea) Blue, Rich Webb, Terry (Mary) Blue, Greg (Diane) Blue, Peggy (Dean) Maas, Rod (Patty) Blue, Karen Bohlander, Patty (Brian) Wohnoutka, Doug (Paula) Blue, Bob (Sheri) Blue, Laurie (Mark) Gunderson, Tim (Ann) Blue, Mike (Michelle) Blue, and Steve (Shari) Blue and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Rosemary (Norman) Mason, brothers; Larry Cook, Lynn (Barbara) Cook, Jerry Cook, Russell Cook, Dan Cook, Bruce Cook, and sister-in-law Jeanne Webb.
