Cynthia Martin, age 63 of Huron, SD, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. A private family service will be held at a later date. Cynthia Dietz, the daughter of Orlie and Hazel (Bonnes) Dietz, was born on July 18, 1951 in Huron, SD. She attended school and graduated from Huron High School. Cindee also received a Bachelor's of Science Degree from Huron University. Cindee worked for Goeller Properties as the office manager for many years. Cindee also owned and operated the Premier Pawn Shop in Huron. Cindee married Steven Martin on September 30, 1978 at the First Presbyterian Church in Huron, SD. Cindee enjoyed reading, watching movies, and her dog, Joey. Cindee's family was very important to her and she loved spending time with them. Grateful for having shared in Cindee's life are her husband, Steven of Huron; sons Jacin (Andrea) Martin of Maricopa, AZ, and Stacin (Lorri) Martin of Chesapeake, VA; four grandchildren: Calvin, Cohen, Orlie, and Lennon Martin; two brothers, Ken (Barbara) Dietz of Huron, SD and Gary (Kathy) Dietz of Buena Park, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
