Cory D. Larson, age 38, of Huron, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at his home in Huron. His Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Welter Funeral Home in Huron. His visitation will be held from 1-3 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022 at Welter Funeral Home.

Cory Dean Larson was born on October 5, 1984, to parents Rickie and Cindy (Long) Larson in Huron. Cory attended Huron Schools. For the past several years, Cory had managed a produce and fruit truck company, delivering fresh fruit to many locations.

Cory loved to spend time with his family. He enjoyed cooking and developed a Facebook group with recipes and cooking videos. Cory also liked to travel, watch movies and in the summer grow beautiful roses. He cheered loudly for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Kansas City Royals. Watching a game and touring the Steelers stadium was a highlight for him. He also enjoyed watching professional wrestling. Cory loved his pugs, Loki and Harley. Most importantly, Cory had a heart of gold and would help anybody out.

He is survived by his parents, Rick and Cindy Larson of Huron; his brother, Casey Larson of Huron; his grandmother, Rosetta Long of Alpena; and many special aunts, uncles and cousins including special uncle Roger.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Long, Ronald Larson, and Carol Hein; and his dog, Harley.
