Cindy J. Jackson Tompkins, age 57, of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at her home in Huron. A private memorial service will take place.

Cindy Joan Jackson was born on April 16, 1965 in Los Angeles, California to parents Willard and Joan (Edmonston) Jackson. She grew up in Southern California.

Cindy worked as a secretary for DM & E Railroad for many years. She married Doug Tompkins of Huron on February 28, 2015. Doug passed away in August of 2015.

Cindy loved to spend time with her treasured niece Paizley.

She is survived by her sister, Debbie Brink of Harrisburg; special nieces and nephews, Amy, Lauren, Allie, Missy, Deric, Daxton, Cassie, Tyrell, Luke, Hope, Seth, Kylie and Sidney; and many great nieces and nephews; siblings-in-law, Mike (Rhonda), Dave (Dorris), Lori (Jeff) and Lisa (Glenn); and her mother-in-law, Sidney Tompkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Doug; and her father-in-law, Marvin Tompkins.
