Christina Htoo, age 71, of Huron, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at her home. Her funeral service will be at Noon on Saturday, November 2 at the Su Knya Karen Baptist Church in Huron with burial in Riverside Cemetery. An all night visitation will begin at 6 PM on Friday until the time of service on Saturday at the church.

Christina was born on December 5, 1947 in Burma to parents Maw Pay and Ma Toe. She was united in marriage to Rev. Eh Day Htoo on May 6, 1976 in Burma. Christina graduated from bible college in 1998. On July 2, 2009, Eh and Christina immigrated to the United States and lived in Washington State until April 2010. That same month, they moved to Huron where Eh served as the associate pastor at First Baptist Church. In July 2012 the Su Knya Karen Church was established in the former VFW building where Eh and Christina served. Christina was the leader of the women's group at the church. She loved to go to church and loved to go to people's homes and minister to them. She also enjoyed fishing.

She is survived by her four children; Hsa Ler Moo of Huron, Shee Say Htoo (Kay Nay Htoo) of Canada, NiDoh Paw Knyaw (Po Eh Knyaw) of Washington State, and May Say (Htee Ywa Paw) of Huron; two adopted sons, Saw Shwe of Canada and Gray Moo of Huron; and 25 grandchildren.
