Chad A. Kohlmeyer, age 45, of Lincoln, NE and formerly of Huron, passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home in Lincoln. His Memorial Service will be held at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Welter Funeral Home with burial at Restlawn Memory Gardens Cemetery. Chad's service will be livestreamed thru the Welter Funeral Home Facebook Page .

Chad Alan Kohlmeyer was born on January 27, 1976 in Huron to parents Mark and Lisa (Rice) Kohlmeyer. He attended Huron schools and was a member of Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church.

Chad worked at Sunbird Seeds and LSI before moving to Lincoln. He loved to fish and had a huge heart and would do anything to help anyone out. He enjoyed riding horses when he was young and spending time at his Aunt Idella's and Uncle Stan's farm.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa Lentz and stepfather David Lentz of Huron; several aunts and uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Mark Kohlmeyer who passed in November 2021 and his grandparents, Marcus and Phyllis Kohlmeyer and Inez Wiand.
