Carolyn I. Jordan, age 65, passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020 at her home in Huron.  Her funeral service will be planned for a later date.

Carolyn I. Kreger, the daughter of Francis E. and Irene N. (Braun) Kreger, was born on June 18, 1955 in Watertown, South Dakota.  She grew up in Huron and moved to Watertown, Wisconsin in September of 1979. Carolyn married Richard Jordan on September 18, 1980 in Watertown, Wisconsin. She moved back to Huron in May 2013 after her husband's death in 2012.

Carolyn worked as a housekeeper at the Violet Tschetter Nursing Home and the Bethesda Care Center in Watertown, Wisconsin. She also worked as a contract cleaner for various businesses.

Carolyn was baptized in St. Martin's Church in Watertown, SD and confirmed at Mt. Calvary Lutheran in Huron. She enjoyed watching movies, putting puzzles together and her cats and had a good memory for family history. She sponsored three overseas children through Compassion International.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Richard.

She is survived by her brother, Dennis Kreger of Huron and her sister, Kathy (Rich) Reid of Brookings; nieces Lindsey (Eric) Benson of Omaha, Rebecca Reid of Anchorage, AK, and nephew Timothy (Grace) Reid of Grand Forks; two great nieces and 1 great nephew.
