Carol Elizabeth Robertson, age 64, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at Huron Regional Medical Center in Huron. Her memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Welter Funeral Home.

Inurnment will be held at St. Martin's Cemetery in Huron, SD at a later date.

Carol Elizabeth Robertson was born on November 30, 1958 to James and Grace (Mathew) Robertson in Miles City, Montana. Carol moved many times during her childhood. In 1971 she moved to Rapid City, SD where she received special education and vocational training.  Between 1976 and 2000, Carol lived in several different towns in southeastern South Dakota. In September of 2000, Carol moved to Huron and began to receive services from the Huron Area Center for Independence.  During her years in Huron, Carol touched the lives of many people. Carol loved to visit and enjoyed attending social events such as rodeos, Canaries games, WWE events, the State Fair,  and concerts. Carol especially loved Elvis and got to take a dream trip to Nashville to see Graceland and the Grand Ole Opry. Carol was a huge fan of Chuck Norris and watched his television appearances any time she could.  Carol also loved spending time with her cat, Tinkerbell.

Carol leaves behind numerous friends in the Huron community and especially at the Huron Area Center for Independence who were lucky to be a part of Carol's life for the past 23 years.

Carol was preceded in death by her special friend, Tony Bultman.
